Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) is widely recognized as the standard for measuring sustainability performance of real estate portfolios and assets.
Baltic Horizon Fund has participated in GRESB’s annual assessments since 2020. In 2024, the Fund achieved a 3-star rating with a score of 80 points.
Over the past year, the Baltic Horizon Fund has made a diligent effort to ensure robust data collection and via the sustainability performance data to actively reduce CO2 emissions further. Another key focus area has been to transition to renewable energy. The progress that the Fund has made in this year’s assessment is a direct result of these efforts.
“It has been a strategic objective for the Fund to cross the GRESB 4-star threshold. Throughout the last year, we have put in focused efforts to reach this milestone. Our work has driven an important reduction in energy consumption across the portfolio. It has required commitment from everyone involved, not to mention the support from tenants, so I am truly pleased to see our efforts being recognized by GRESB today, commented Tarmo Karotam, Fund Manager for Baltic Horizon Fund.
